When my two-year-old son started bringing me feathers, I thought,
“Thank you, sweetheart… and please wash your hands!”

 

But he kept bringing more. Months went by and when I finally asked why, he simply said,
“Because you like them.”

 

I knew there was more to it.

 

So I asked Spirit where the feathers were coming from.

 

A few weeks later, while visiting my Great-Grandma Jenny’s farm, I felt guided to walk around the back of the house.

 

With every step—feather, feather, feather.

 

As I reached a fallen log, I felt her clearly say,
“The feathers are from me. I’ve been telling your son to bring them to you.”

 

My heart filled with joy.
I had found my answer—and a beautiful connection to the ancestor I was named for.

Two years later, my three-year-old daughter came running inside shouting,
“Mom! Mom! I found your ring!”

 

She held up a ring she had found in the driveway.

 

When I took it, I saw it was shaped like a feather.
I slipped it onto my finger—and it fit perfectly.

 

I smiled and thought,
“Jenny strikes again.”

These moments opened the door for me to more deeply trust and develop my gift as a medium.
